Uniform Guidelines

Important Reminders

  • As a volunteer, you are a highly visible representative of the Championship, and we encourage you to portray a professional image. If you do not comply with the Championship uniform, you will be asked to remove non-conforming apparel and/or purchase replacements.
  • Do not wear other tournament or corporate logos, large bows, embellishments, fringes or oversized jewelry with your uniform.
  • Ladies’ shorts, skirts, and skort lengths must be no shorter than two and one half inches above the knee.

Uniform Delivery

  • Uniforms will be shipped in March via FedEx Ground for domestic orders and USPS for international orders.
  • You may make exchanges and/or additional purchases during the Volunteer Orientation on April 19, at the Oak Cliff Campus of the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers. A map to the campus and information regarding orientation will be mailed with your work schedule. Exchanges and/or additional purchases may also be made throughout Championship week in the Volunteer Center while supplies last.

Volunteer Uniform Guidelines

Required Official Uniform (same as 2006 and 2007):

  • White golf shirt with EDS Byron Nelson Championship logo (offered in both women's and men's sizes)
  • Navy blue microfiber pants for men
  • Navy blue microfiber pants, shorts or skort for women
  • Solid white socks (you provide)
  • White athletic shoes or soft spike white golf shoes (you provide)
  • Navy blue or black belt (you provide)
  • Name tag (red name tag with white lettering; returning volunteers may use their name tags from the previous year).
  • 2008 volunteer badge (you will receive this in the mail with your schedule)

Optional Logo Items Available for Purchase

Please note: You may only wear official EDS Byron Nelson Championship merchandise (including all headwear) with the volunteer uniform.

  • Navy baseball cap
  • Navy visor (women's and men's)
  • Straw hat
  • Jacket (women's and men's)
  • Windvests by Zero Restriction (women's and men's)
  • Fanny Pack

EMS Uniform Guidelines

Required Official Uniform (same as 2006 and 2007):

  • White golf shirt with EDS Byron Nelson Championship logo and EMS logo (offered in both women’s and men’s sizes)
  • Khaki shorts or pants for men (you provide)
  • Khaki shorts, pants or skirt for women (you provide)
  • Solid white socks (you provide)
  • If you choose to wear headwear, it must be the official EDS Byron Nelson Championship EMS volunteer baseball cap (white with red and black logos). No other headwear will be allowed.
  • Name tag (red name tag with white lettering; returning volunteers may use their name tags from the previous year.)
  • 2008 volunteer badge (you will receive this in the mail with your schedule.)
