Harrison Frazar Accepts Sponsor Exemption To Play In EDS Byron Nelson Championship

Irving, TX – Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas is proud to announce that Harrison Frazar has accepted a sponsor exemption to play in the 2008 EDS Byron Nelson Championship. The 36-year-old Frazar, a long-time Dallas resident and graduate from The University of Texas, is a natural fit for the 2008 field.

“Harrison has always been a supporter of our event, and we are proud that he will be a part of this year’s Championship,” said John Nolan, 2008 tournament chairman. “He has played in our tournament every year since he turned professional in 1996, and we wanted to ensure that streak would continue.”

Harrison has enjoyed success in his 11 years at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, including earnings of over $275,000 from the event and a best finish of a tie for second place in 1998 in only his second appearance. He has also helped the Championship by hosting its annual Youth Clinic on Tuesday of tournament week for the past few years. Immediately following the 2007 Championship, he was hired as a player consultant to help D.A. Weibring/Golf Resources Group with the renovation of the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas.
