EDS Byron Nelson Championship: The Championship has raised more than $100 million for charity.

No. 15 Ranked Luke Donald and No. 8 Ranked Rory Sabbatini Commit To Play In EDS Byron Nelson Championship

Irving, TX – Luke Donald and Rory Sabbatini have officially committed to play in the 2008 EDS Byron Nelson Championship. Donald is ranked No. 15 in the World Golf Rankings, No. 14 on the PGA TOUR money list and No. 16 in the race for the FedExCup. Sabbatini is No. 8 in the World Golf Rankings, No. 13 on the TOUR money list and No. 13 in the race for the FedExCup.

Donald has captured two PGA TOUR wins: the 2002 Southern Farm Bureau Classic and The Honda Classic in 2006. His best finish on the PGA TOUR in 2008 was second at The Honda Classic. He is ranked No. 2 for scoring average. Donald has appeared at six EDS Byron Nelson Championships, and his best finish was second in 2007.

Sabbatini has played in nine EDS Byron Nelson Championships. The South African received a sponsor exemption to play in 2005, finished second in 2006 and tied for third in 2007. He won the 2007 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. His best finish on the PGA TOUR in 2008 is second at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He is ranked No. 7 for scoring average.
