For Immediate Release: June 13, 2007 Salesmanship Club Of Dallas Awarded 2007 Bing Crosby Tournament Sponsor AwardThe Salesmanship Club of Dallas, host organization of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, has been selected to receive the prestigious Bing Crosby Tournament Sponsor Award from the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association. This award recognizes individuals or organizations that promote and support the game of golf through commercial sponsorship of quality events. Previous recipients of this award include the Firestone Company, Nabisco Brands, MasterCard, Metropolitan Life, Buick, Cadillac, McDonald’s, Shell Oil, Bob Hope, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. The Bing Crosby Tournament Sponsor Award will be presented to Andy Stern, chairman of Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas, on Monday, June 18 at the MGWA’s 56th annual National Awards Dinner in New York. The USGA, PGA of America, LPGA, PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and 800 industry leaders and local golfers attend this dinner, which is the nation’s largest golf awards event.
