A New Era in Professional Golf

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of DFW’s biggest sports attraction and the most anticipated social event of the season. There are many new and exciting things happening in 2008.

TPC Redesign

The EDS Byron Nelson Championship will be played on a newly renovated TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas. Texas-based D.A. Weibring/Golf Resources Group launched a major redesign of the course in mid-May. The multi-million dollar project will affect every hole of the golf course from tee box to green and includes new turf and a new underground irrigation system. Weibring says his work is designed to challenge the professional golfer, entertain today’s savvy amateurs and create the highest quality playing conditions for both.

New Venues and Better Viewing

Look for a better sponsor and spectator experience throughout the course, including new hospitality areas such as the all-inclusive Signature Suites on 17. The new design of TPC will feature improved viewing areas for patrons throughout the course, including the signature hole at 17 and the dramatic finishing hole on 18.

Celebrity-Am

Be the first to tee off with celebrities such as Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman and Bob Knight in the Celebrity-Am. This exclusive new event will be held at the Vaquero Club in Westlake, Texas.
