Adam Scott Sinks 48-Foot Putt to Win Thrilling 3-Hole Playoff

Adam Scott A fabulous week at the 2008 EDS Byron Nelson Championship ended in dramatic fashion as Adam Scott sank a 48-foot putt to top Ryan Moore on the third playoff hole. This spectacular finish capped a remarkable week that included Ken Venturi as the winner of the 2008 Byron Nelson Prize, the recipients of the inaugural Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Awards, and the debut of the KidsZone and the upgraded Pavilion.

The EDS Byron Nelson Championship and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas would like to thank the more than 245,000 fans who attended this year's Championship. The great time starts in May next year. Mark your calendars, May 18-24.

Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch The Salesmanship Club will host the Nationwide Tour’s season-ending event, the Nationwide Tour Championship, at TPC Craig Ranch in November. The top 60 players on the Nationwide Tour will play for the chance to earn their PGA TOUR cards November 2-9. More information coming soon.

New Tournament Director Named

Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas announced that Jon Drago has been named the new tournament director for the EDS Byron Nelson Championship and the 2008 Nationwide Tour Championship.

Drago replaces Janie Henderson, who retired this week after leading the Salesmanship Club and the Byron Nelson tournament for the last 27 years.
